Constellation Nails: The Real Deal.

I love the stars and other astronomical objects, in a little more fine detail than the usual suspects in the trend. I’ve been out in the wee hours a lot lately looking at the constellations which led me to looking up constellation nails, where I found this (link). So that’s cool and whatever, but extremely inaccurate, and, frankly, little skill. Afterwards I decided I could improve, so I put together a diagram (link), then actually did them today, and they turned out alright. 

1. Base coat
2. Black
3. Micro glitter (not too much)
4. Stars
5. Tint over colored stars
6. Top coat

And that’s it(:  Don’t be afraid to go and find some stars, it’s super easy and really quite fun. There’s also the Perseids meteor shower that’s going on right now, with a peak on the 13th, and the Mars rover Curiosity is scheduled to land at 10:30pm PST Sunday (!!)
